Supporting your baby’s communication from the very beginning The early months with your baby can feel full of questions.
You’re talking to them, singing, reading… but you might still wonder:
- Am I doing enough?
- How do babies actually learn to talk?
- Does reading really make a difference this early?
- What should I be looking out for?
Baby Talk Starts Now is a gentle, supportive workshop designed to help you understand how your baby’s communication develops, and how you can support it through simple, everyday moments.
This isn’t about doing more or getting it “right.” It’s about helping you feel confident in what you’re already doing, and showing you a few small things that can make a big difference over time.
During the session, we explore how babies learn through connection, repetition, and interaction – long before they say their first words.
You will learn how to:
Support early language development through talking, singing, and play
Use simple back-and-forth interaction to build communication skills
Share books with your baby in a way that feels natural and enjoyable
Understand what’s typical in early speech and language development
Feel more confident responding to your baby and recognising their cues
The session is relaxed, welcoming, and practical, with opportunities to try things out with your baby as we go.
There’s space to ask questions, connect with other parents, and feel reassured that you’re not alone in wondering if you’re “doing it right.”
By the end of the session, you won’t leave with a checklist, but you will leave feeling more confident, more connected, and clearer in how you’re supporting your baby’s development every day.
